Knowledge Licenses

Our licensing is very straightforward. There are three types.

Completely FREE Copyrighted Knowledge	Completely free knowledge products and services that you may use for yourself or your organization. Distribution for your own use or within your own company is permissible. Modification of any "compressed" or "runtime" script code, including the Advanced Command Library - ntlib.cmd, is not permitted. Modification of any "uncompressed" or "cmd source" code is permitted as long as copyright notices are retained. Redistribution of any modified code is permissible within your own company. Registration is required.

"Almost Free" Per Seat License	A License is required for every system where the product's code is executed, even if the product itself does not reside on local, permanent media (i.e., the local hard disk). Limited modification of licensed copies is permissible. Redistribution of the modified code to other licensed users in the same company is permitted. All copyright notices must be retained. If you are a Consultant or System Integrator and you wish to distribute customized versions of any of our products to clients, contact our Sales Department.

"Almost Free" Concurrent Use License	A License is required for enough systems to cover the maximum potential simultaneous execution of the product code.
